A&E network has a show party made in Virginia Beach. I bet with a little
effort, you could be one of the central characters for an episode. Would
be great to see you on it.

The show is: Booked, First Day In
done at: Virginia Beach Correctional Center

First time watching this series, Ed? I watch it every week and it's usually
pretty interesting.

Third week. Some interesting people on it. Just watched the latest
tonight and thought of Gary again.

Where is he? Do you think he found a woman in the supermarket?

The last Gary post I saw was in response to Lucretia on June 28th about
his birthday. He has been gone for an unusual amount of time.

Yeah. I'm kind of concerned. Some folks take a break
from posting for a week or more, but Gary doesn't
usually do that. I searched for an obit several days ago,
but nothing.

Yes, unusual. Although, according to my news client, Gary didn't post
at all during the last month of May. Is that correct? Could he be
serving short jail sentences or time in hospital? Or did he find a
woman in the supermarket or does his free neighbourhood wifi have a
prolonged outage?

You could have asked your friend ChatGPT
*or* you could have asked the kangaroo - it knows everything.

:)

All has been fine.

That's good. I asked my friend anyway:
"As an AI language model, I don't have access to real-time information
about individuals, their personal lives, or their current well-being.
Therefore, I cannot provide specific information about Gary from
Virginia Beach or how he is doing."

Same friend?
I'm sorry, but as an AI language model, I don't have access to real-time information about individuals, such as Gary. Additionally, I don't have the ability to browse the internet or access personal data about people unless it has been shared with me in the course of our conversation. My primary function is to provide information and assistance to the best of my knowledge and abilities. Is there anything else I can help you with?

I will take it a step further...
"Are Bryan's chicken wings cooked thoroughly?"
As an AI language model, I don't have access to real-time information or personal data about individuals, including Bryan's chicken wings or their current cooking status. It's important to follow proper food safety guidelines when cooking chicken wings to ensure they are cooked thoroughly. I recommend using a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) to ensure they are fully cooked. If you have concerns about Bryan's chicken wings, it's best to communicate directly with Bryan or the person responsible for cooking them.

The next version is available, not cheap.
It insists I pay up.

Can you ask 3 questions for free? I have a free account at openai.com.
I can talk to it all day if I wanted to.

Using a thermo-probe for the smallest of things is certainly a new trend in the new world.

Better exists now. It's called "Bard." I watched a documentary on 60
minutes last week about AI. Main difference is that the new Google one
can access the web for up-to-date info.

"Bard is Google's experimental, conversational, AI chat service. It is
meant to function similarly to ChatGPT, with the biggest difference
being that Google's service will pull its information from the web."

Gary, could you please ask Bard, "What did the kangaroo say?"...???

Careful with "from the web". The web includes full access to your pc.

And you can upload pictures to it or give it a link to a picture and
ask questions about them. So I give it a link to Bryan's chicken dish:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/36178182@N08/53050235044/in/album-72177720309806655/

I asked it if was cooked sufficiently. Unfortunately, it can't tell:
"I can't tell whether the chicken in the picture is cooked
sufficiently or still half raw."

I also gave it a link to Sqwertz' picture and asked what it was:
https://postlmg.cc/jC5wcNKX
It said:
"The picture you linked is of a Möbius strip."

I can't wait until rfc gets replaced with posting AI bots. As yoose guys die out, a bot is assigned to take over your posts. They'll take over your user name only, not the nutty, needy, desperate, bullying, posting style. That would be sweet.

That may be a good thing. Many of the posts these days show a lack of
intelligence and just spew dislike, death wishes, and state of the pubic
region.

Greg, Hank, Sqwertz, Alex, Janet UK and hanger-on Muffy.
