Frick's braunschweiger, bacon, Swiss cheese, Woebler's Horsey Sauce,
and mr. mustard on Jewish rye. This'll put some hair on your lips!

For Gary - I got you a new girlfriend to obsess over. Her name's
Sherry.

I haven't had braunschweiger in years.

I'm tuckered out from yard work, so it's a quesadilla for me for lunch.

The guy has asked for shrimp cocktail for dinner (but I think he was
just trying to request something that's simple to make). With salad
and bread drizzled with olive oil.

Now I'm going to have to rummage around in my freezer I hope I still
have braunschweiger somewhere.

Braunschweiger and liverwust don't freeze well... they separate and
become watery when defrosted... most cold cuts don't freeze well due
to all the salt they contain.

NOW you tell me. You mean it wouldn't be my treasure still? Sigh.

Glad to see you stop by and post, Jean. I buy 2-3 logs of
braunschweiger a year. This Frick's brand was new to me so I HAD to
buy it. Their half and whole hams are the best on the market.

Finely emulsified sausages freeze best of all the processed meat
products. You don't know what you're talking about.

Yes, I'm glad to see her post, too, and hope she doesn't become a stranger.

Thanks, Steve. I'm now more apt to buy food online, so I might just
look into that.

I hope you're staying safe down there.

i'm not fond of the results if i'm using it for eating
as cut off the chunk, but for what i'll be using the
latest chunk that is in the freezer it will be ok, since
it will be finely ground up again and mixed with other
things (fresh garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and mayo).

Even frankfurters don't freeze well due to the salt, the USDA says no
more than 3 months for safety, same for bacon... of course Texans
build an immunity to eating toxic shit with all the TEX-MEX they
consume. The US Navy served a lot of Horse Cock that's kept frozen
but had to be eaten or deep sixed by three months.

I thought only people from Texas and Oklahoma said that word.
