An male RCA connector or two like I did today?

Or nothing ever in your LIFE? I predict this one!

Brazing and welding too! I was never any good at arc welding but I had an oxyacetylene welding torch and once use it to weld an amateur radio antenna tower work platform for my father who had a 40ft tower on our house in Crestwood. Best weld I ever made too! :-)

And nary a rusted-on lower shock mount bolt on an old air cooled VW would not come cheerfully free after being heated to a cherry-redness then cooled! I have made tools too!

I was soldering microelectronic part for over 20 years. I suppose I should have washed my hands after touching the lead solder but I never did. I worked with my nose about 5 inches from the parts. I suppose I should have avoided breathing the lead vapors but I never did. These days, my hands sometimes have tremors and I can feel my memory slipping. That's probably not good.

These days, I've been using a soldering gun to work on regular sized electronics. It's a lot of fun.

Just did a new water heater install. Aceteline w 12 foot hose. Only way to go.
Small boards, a nice pen tip electric iron.
Did big iron in high school for box seams projects. Love fire.

Hey JK, I can do the roof for 95k saving you 25000 bucks. I will need a place to stay for 2 days though. I do like a good cuppa. Never banged an Indian. Keep it open.

Funny you should ask - at least three times?  I just did this workaround
for my smart garage door opener two weeks ago.  It involved soldering
two wires to a circuit board.  The spots on the board were the size of a
pin head and, if improperly soldered, I could have damaged the solder on
the board itself.  Since I have soldered a few dozen times in my life it
was uneventful.

There is a city that allows you to put a 40 foot tower ON your house?

Wow, that must heat the water fast.

Hmm. We usually use threaded black pipe.

No, STL County, And my father personally asked nearby neighbors too. Only one declined because he did not understand RF interference and that HIS equipment was not designed to reject it!

Cool. Many have not. And you are correct, if you have clean metal soldering is pretty straightforward. I've been soldering since I was a kid.
