The movie "Big Night" was discussed on the radio this morning. This is a
must see for all foodies and is about 2 Italian brothers and their
failing restaurant.
A friend of mine in the UK is trained chef (unfortunately days away from
dying) and he saw it in a movie theatre when it first came out. He went
to a matinée showing and most of the patrons in the sparsely filled
theatre were also chefs. Watching one of the brothers make a complex
dish he shouted out: "You're doing it wrong", much to the amusement of
the others there.
