Low air pressure spirals, counterclockwise!

We paddled the French Broad on the spiral of hurricane Beryl my first eastern whitewater trip 1996 I think! we even got to paddle the N. Toe or S. Toe too! Headwaters to the French Broad! Great paddling trip in my 1985 Chevrolet Suburban which drank 12MPG!

Not INF-MPG like my Nissan Leaf license plate says! And it DOES! Zero gasoline, again!

We're enjoying relatively mild weather.

Time: 11:06am
Wind: N 6
Conditions: Cloudy
Temp: 78F
Dewpoint: 65F
Humidity: 62%

We're expecting a lot of rain overnight. Looks like a cold front.
Tomorrow's high should be 71F. A little cold snap compared to
most summers.

I'd be happy to race him from St. Louis to Detroit.

Let's have this discussion again in January, when it's -5 F with
a 15 mph wind. Then I can call you a pussy.

Remember, the polar bears are the losers of the bear world.

(But let's not let them become extinct, please.)

I complain about both extremes every year but at least in the
winter, you can dress to kill off the cold.

OTOH, when it gets so cold the snot freezes right in your nose
when you inhale, I feel it's time to stay indoors.

But see - I won't be the one whining about the cold weather. I'll
be bragging about a perfect 60F day.

And calling you pussies :-)

I won't be whining, either. But I can still call you a pussy for
not tolerating the cold, much as you call us pussies for not
tolerating the heat.

That would be illogical. You can't call somebody a pussy for
something for which they cannot practically experience.

When I start whining about it being only 40F here (which will be a
cold day in Hell, heh), only *then* could you call me a pussy.
