Anyone who can't tell produce is sub par just by looking, smelling,
and feeling is severely retarded... I've seen poor quality produce at
every store but I'm not forced to buy it. I buy Walmart produce and
find it's better than most, and costs less too... having roasted red
potatoes tonight, a 5# bag of Green Giant brand from Walmart, I see
nothing wrong with them. I bought a 5# bag of navel oranges from
Walmart, they are so good I should have bought two bags. I bought
lots of salad stuff, all perfect. The only produce I looked at that I
didn't buy were asparagus, I don't like those pencil thin ones, but
then two other stupidmarkets had the same skinny asparaguys too... I
attribute that to the crazy spring weather here. If you can't tell
produce is lousy before you buy it there's something sick in your
brain. I've never found any national brand packaged product at
Walmart that's any different than from other stores, other than
Walmart charges a lower price. Wherever possible I buy the Walmart
brand, I've found it equal to or better than the name brand.
If you think Hersheys lowers their standards for chocolate bars sold
at Walmart then you were dropped on your skull right from your momma's
chute... look in the mirror, notbob, see that flat sloping forehead,
that's from where you slammed into the hard floor.
