Any corner pizzeria can make a damn good cheesesteak. Philadelphia and its
suburbs has innumerable fine restaurants.

Most cheesesteaks are topped with American or Wiz. It is what it is.
Provolone is tasty but does not melt well.

Wine also. There are premium state stores that have an excellent selection
(and will order anything for you). PA knows that it's competing with NJ and
DE so they do have competitive prices now.

"Nebraska of the East";
I've never heard that. We call the interior of the state "Pennsyltucky".
There's Philly, Pittsburgh, and a whole lot of nothing in the middle.
Agriculture is still the states biggest industry so we do benefit from fresh
local produce, meat, and dairy products.

During the last 200 or so years, wealthy Philadelphia residents built summer
estates north and west of the city (Germantown, Mount Airy, Chestnut Hill,
etc) which are now part of the city itself or are immediate suburbs.
The Jersey shore has been a vacation spot for a little more than a hundred
years, since 1870 or so.
