The spray bottle of "I Can't Believe it's not Butter" says it has zero
calories. Yet it appears to have mostly the same ingredients as the
tub version, which has 90 calories per tbsp, I think. How could the
spray have zero calories, when it contains sweet cream buttermilk,
etc?

The caveat is the serving size. The spray bottle's single serving size
of a spritz contains less than 1 calorie so therefore they round it to 0
calories per serving. The tub version's serving size is a tablespoon so
they're required to report the value correctly.

Use butter. :)

If you miss your mouth when you spray it, it will definitely be zero
calories! :-)

It tastes so bad, you'll spit it out; hence, zero calories!

Calories is a measurement of the amount of heat given off when a
substance is burned. Perhaps they add flame retardant.

It's zero calories ~~per serving~~~.

The serving size is so small, there is no room for calories.

It's like a bar of cheddar cheese saying "zero lactose per serving". If you
ate the whole bar of cheese, you'd have some lactose. But a little one ounce
serving, not enough lactose to measure.

Hmmm, let's see, they indicate a serving size of 5 sprays (1g) for
topping. The tub's serving size is 1 tbsp (14g) @ 90 calories, so 1g
would be approx 6 calories.
