forge all these people? Coal/Coke-fired or Gas-fired? I would think that you
would follow the more traditional methods as observed by our brethren in

temp at which a person becomes malleable in the forge for shaping to your

Ah. The cybercat we all know and love is back. Shouting, swearing, name
calling, an exclamation point or two - all in just 3 lines of text.
Plus a dash of twisted logic in there too. What a relief.
The Cook
But do you go out and share with anyone you happen to meet on the
street? Most of the people here are the equivalent of people you see
on the bus or in the grocery store frequently. People you chat with
about the produce or maybe events in the town. Some people do become
friends. Those I share with by email or telephone. But I do not care
to share everything with everyone else, especially people I do not
care for.
Along with topic of manners, is it polite to post your thank you notes
in the newsgroup? Are you saying "someone sent me a gift." Well
damn, why didn't they send one to everyone.

This discourages new posters and alienates those that aren't here
to talk about the weather. The real solution is:
rec.food.cooking.talk
But that will only be met with fierce resistance by those who
consider this their pissing grounds, and they will reject it "just
because".

There is no way to wreck this group. It only evolves, ever so

I've eaten every brand of chicken soup out there in the last week.
From $.25/can to $4.39/box. It's not working.
I even looked for Menudo on the way home last night - and I work
in the middle of the barrio. Nobody serves it except on weekends,
and I'm out of my homemade stash I usually have in the freezer.
