Thanks for posting the quantities to be used for the Jaicama. I made
it much weaker than suggested in your post, but the end result was
great for my taste. This is what I did:

Used the same proportions for the steeping...2 cups water to 1 cup
Jaicama. Brought both to a boil & let the mixture steep for 2 hours.

Made up a simple syrup of 3 cups water to 1 cup sugar.

When the Jaicama mix was ready, I strained it throughly into a 2 quart
(empty) beer pitcher I have.

Poured in about 1 1/2 cups of the simple syrup, mixed it up well, and
put it into the fridge.

Very refreshing drink for hot summer weather.

I purchased the beer pitcher several years ago because the glass is
much heavier than the glass pitchers that I had at the time; which I
threw out. I've seen them for sale on the surfas.com website at
about $7.00+shipping.

I think that should be "Jamaica", the Spanish word for hibiscus,
if you are talking about a drink infusion.

You are more than welcome. I make it different strengths depending on
my mood and weather.

I'm so happy you tried it and liked it.
