Greg, you're showing yourself as the moron most think you are again, you think
Lucas's post about crib death to be funny? If so you need to be Killfiled as

This shows a fundamental misunderstanding of Usenet account terms of
service. Unless the first poster's NSP will cancel an account for posting
off-topic tasteless jokes, there has been NO VIOLATION of those terms of
service, and complaints are completely groundless. There will be no
cancellation.

I for one find the spoofer's jokes to be less boring, and the posts in
general to be less self-serving, than those of the real Peter.

If the poster had copied Peter's exact name and e-mail address that
would be forging and that's a TOS violation at most NSP/ISPs that can
get your account cancelled.

What the poster did is use a name and handle that looks like Peter's
name but that is actually different. It's called "frogging" to treat
the word "forging" the same way.

Posting very bad jokes is not an offense that gets accounts cancelled.
Doing frogging is not an offense that gets accounts cancelled. Doing
either sure gets you put in a lot of filter files, though. I glanced at
the OP and asked myself: Does this author go to my RFC author filer list
or my global author filter list?

Pain is your friend, your ally, it will tell you when you are seriously
injured, it will keep you awake and angry, and remind you to finish the
job and get the hell home. But you know the best thing about pain?

It lets you know you're not dead yet!
