Tried Pandora's bread with fruit (apricot preserves and bits of dried
fruit) instead of savory fillings. The bread is too salty for this to
be really good, but it's not bad. We'll eat it, but next time, I'll
find a sweeter bread dough to do this with.

It's definitely gorgeous, though, so I think I'll make a sweet version
for a potluck we're going to on Sunday.

WOW Serene! It's wonderful! You became an expert cook :)
I will give you, if you want, the quantities of the sweet version. The
procedure is the same.

Here is the ingredients for the sweet version:

FIRST DOUGH (it's like the salted recipe):
135 g manitoba flour (strong flour)
5g dry yeast
1tsp sugar
100 g water

SECOND DOUGH:
400 g. manitoba flour
75 g sugar
120 g lukewarm milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp salt
120 g softened butter

A possible filling

FOR THE FILLING:
75 g. raisins
75 g. candied orange zest
50 g. liquid butter
peanuts, if you want

FOR THE COVERING ICING:
150 g icing sugar
1 egg white

Mix icing sugar with egg white and brush the cake when you keep out from
oven. Let it dry.

Thank you so much! I'm going to a handfasting (similar to a wedding)
on Sunday, and I'll take one of these.
