I am wanting to make a low fat or fat "free" ice cream
or yogurt. What is a good replacement for whipping
cream and still taste good. Thanks

Before my sister made off with the family ice cream maker, I'd made
several lowfat batches. I would use a custard style recipe--one in which the
sugar, eggs, and cream are cooked together, chilled, then frozen. I
substituted lowfat milk for the cream. The result was a heavy dessert, not
unlike Haagen Daz in texture. Worked for me.
