Where did you 'discover' it??
But you're right, anyone north of the Victorian (Mexican) border already
knows that Aussie Rules is a game for nancy's!! ;-)
Talk about drama queens!! They get sent off and reported for "affray"!!
Old skydiving term........ "Shit Happens".
British Para?
And one wonder how you get a "semi" streamer?
Go to rec.skydiving and tell us about it...... so the anal ones amongst us
won't crack a hissy fit over a non-food related thread.
LOL, I *do* remember you. <g>

You should, you're both bloody Kiwis!!
Not that there's anything wrong with that ;-P
So far this year you have taken away my favourite dancer Michael
Jackson, my favourite actor Patrick Swayze, my favourite singer Stephen
Gately and my favourite actress Farah Fawcett.
Just so you know, my favourite politician is Kevin Rudd.

Not Kevvy!!!
He was my local member for awhile there...... I spent many hours in his
office with him, trying to educate him to the plight of many ex-servicemen
who are being 'double dipped' by the tax office.... all to no avail.
The guy is quite intelligent, but at the same time, he's as dumb as dog shit.
Did you see Kenneth Branaugh's film version of Edward II? specifically
the nude rugby scrum scene?

Cheers,
Yeah, jumping out of airplanes you don't have to?
I admit it can be fun but stilll....i don't care for my dish of fun to
be spiced with a possibly fatal ingredient.
I gave up metal sculpture for the same reason. I don't like producing
Art with tools that can seriously maim or even kill one.

You will never catch _me_ jumping out of a perfectly good airplane!
I prefer Scuba Diving and target shooting for my sports, along with
weight lifting.

And it can lead you *everywhere*!!
I was looking at an article about Matt Damon, and attached to it was a bit
of a blurb about the Kimmel 'incident', so went and had a look at it
(again). It's refreshing to see Matt Damon singing, even if it's about
screwing someone elses g'friend :-)
Anyhoo's, from that, I then went to Kimmels 'reply' to him, with Ben
Affleck..... and attached to that was a clip about Matt doing an
impersonation of Matthew McConaughey (which was really quite funny!!),
then attached to that was a clip of MMc doing an interview and being shown
the clip of MD impersonating him. He thought it was good too.
Anyhoo's, the interview that MMc was doing was about a movie he was making
at that time....... "We are Marshall".
hadn't heard of the movie, so looked into it and that where I learnt of
the Thundering Herd Football team that was virtually wiped out in a plane
crash. And the fact that they hold commemoration services each year and
have a memorial fountain....... which invoked memories of the memorial
fountain at Perris Valley skydiving center..........
So yeah......... YouTube can certainly take you on a ride!!

Trust me, I *always* wanted to. I *hate* flying!!!
Planes are like metal coffins.

Life is fatal.
And if you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room
;-)

LOL!! I hear you there!! I have a t-shirt with a tear/hole in it, and a
scar on my stomach that matches perfectly with the hole.
Courtesy of an Angle Grinder kicking back, and me standing too close to
the project I was working on. A little bit harder, and I would have had to
try and stuff my intestines back in.

Besides, I've never seen a "perfectly good plane"..... *ever*!! They've
all got something wrong with them!!

I did it for work before I joined the Army, then did it for work in the
Army, tried to do it for pleasure, but it just seemed like work.

Too bad. There is a certain thrill to breathing under water, and being
weightless. :-)
