Had a good ride today. Kass on Pikasa and me on Westwind started out at the
walk side-by-side to ride a pas-de-deux, but got bored after a couple of
circuits of the arena. So instead, we played follow the leader at the trot.
around the arena, across the diagonal, serpentines - all at posting trot.
tried a little shoulder in, but couldn't get my body right. After a short
break, picked up sitting trot and did some shoulder in and leg yield. Then
Kass stopped to coach me as i tried to get the leg yield correct.

She even had me try to get some piaffe. Poor Westwind. It's hard enough to
do piaffe when you've only done half-steps in hand, but to try and figure
out what your rider is asking you to do when she doesn't even know what
she's doing. . . . He is a saint! It is a measure of how far I've come
that I actually got a couple of nice steps out of him.

Piaffe! You go girl! Great stuff you're getting to.
My friend and I do Similar (not paffe) riding. We do a little pas de
deux and following stuff.
I had a nice ride on Reggie yesterday. Kept it light but had some lovely
long working trotting. I did not ride today. I over did some lifting and
had a chiro appt. I felt better after but decided to wait til Mon. to
ride again.
I love reading about your nice steady progress.

Thanks, Winnie. Same here - I enjoy reading about how you and Reggie are
doing.

My chiro used to suggest having an epsom salt soak after an adjustment.
Glad you are feeling better.
