Cute horses! I especially like the "Shiney's". They are very cute and
purdy. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool, there are several mounted shooting groups in my area. Not
many of them ride McClellans though.
Love those grey horses. :-)

We aim to please ;-) I like those too. Some of my better shots. I
hope to get some better shots of the boys some time this week.

'splain why. I'm not going to say my piece till a few others weigh in on
this. Do you like greys and why?

Liked you photos, btw. All those babies, you sure know how to keep your life
complicated. :) I'm trying to downsize. I'm just tired. LOL I think I have
Andee sold, the vet check is Friday. I may sell another, I need to get down
to two or three, five is too many.

Wonderful. Are you a SASS member?

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!"

Not really - it's my Single Action Shooting Society membership badge.

Haven't actually done any shooting while mounted yet - still teaching
whitey how to be a normal western style horse instead of a race horse.
He is gun trained, but I think they spend a lot of time at the track
getting them used to being around lots of noise.

Ah so that horse is an OTTB in the photo. If you don't have his racing
record already, you can get it from his racing name or tattoo.

How old is he?

Are you required to have that kind of mustache? ; )

Yep, I have his racing record.
We were given Whitey for free after he failed to be able to make a
racing comeback from a bowed tendon. Our vet says he is fully
recovered now that he's been off the track for a couple of years.

Whitey is 9 now.

No, I don't think you are required to, but it does add to the effect.
