Yes we are trying to teach him to go slower, since he still has a jumper mind
its working though! he was really good today and yesterday. He usually always
good and always pins sometimes he can get a bit fast though. I have a goal to
get to WIHS( washington international horse show in Maryland) for the jr
hunters.he is turning out to be a great hunter, he learns very fast... Im
learning the leg to hand right now.. Im getting it its hard to remember though
at times.. and I learnedhow to do the hunter butt thing lol, on myold horse I
had to sit and drive him to the jump for the fact he wasa stopper on this one I
can sit but I cant drive so i just do the hunter  butt.. That was a few things
lol I'd be here all night listing and trying to explain to you but OTHER people

Oh, great.  He doesn't tack his horse, he doesn't braid his mane....
Doesn't shovel stalls...

What DOES He do.....

Wanna guess?

Of cource i tack up my own horse.. Thats like an extra 40$ a day if i dont.
Cleaning stalls comes as part of board so there is no reason for me to do that.
I dont braid because i do it bad and its time consuming

At least IM not some backyard hick that is online all night making fun of
peoples names because they cant think of anything better to do. Why is jumping
a green horse stupid? I mean when anyhorse starts jumping it will be green...
Think about it for a while... How can start to jump if we use your methodology?
Your saying don't jump a green horse, but any horse that does not know how to
jump is green to jumping. Try using your brain.

One could split hairs and say that, but then one would have to
find you guilty of using the wrong words. Let me make it simple for
you:

>LOLOL I think your funny

The word should be "you're"

>. Your the one with the snobby opinions not Rich.

The same applies here--the word should be "you're".

>...I'll tell you one
>thing almost everyone in the hunter jumper show  world pays there trainer

The correct word here would be "their", and if one wanted to be
absolutely grammatically correct, one would not even use that, as  it
is not in agreement with "everyone". More properly one would employ
"his or her", but  the usage "their" has become common.

 to

>show there horse for them in the pregreens, first years, second years and
>regulars.

Once more, the correct word would be "their".

>.. they arent snobby if their trainer rides their
>horse for them.

Since you use the correct word here, one might come to the conclusion
that you aren't so much dim or ignorant as you are lazy. This might
make one wonder if your horsemanship is as sloppy as your writing.

Here endeth the lesson, as I don't even want to get into the issue of
punctuation.
While I am fairly sure that you and your little friends find such
details trivial and even boring, it does limit your ability to
communicate with any effectiveness.

Oh, but these kids have a _lot_ of experience. Pulling out Daddy's
wallet. Braiding?!? You want them to _braid_? I'm betting the horse is
hauled to the show, tacked up, sometimes even warmed up by the
trainer, and _then_ little Susie gets on and clocks a round.

Like the others, he "ain't in it for the horses". The uglier side of
H.J, this is where we get the bad rep. Our kid that just went (and did
well!) at the Garden: there is a different story. Doesn't have mega
bucks. Hauls her horse to our trainer every week or so, takes a
lesson. Works at home like a dawwg until the _next_ lesson.

Hauls with David to the shows, where he schools _her_. Sheeesh.

They miss half the fun. Braiding is a hoot. I used to have it down to
15 minutes flat... including the tail. Granted, we have folks who
braid (and well!) but.. some of us are do-it-yourselfers.

Cat (dyed in the wool do-it-yer-selfer) and Larry (yet to be done!)
