It's been awhile since I had a nice trail ride. It seems the rain comes
just often enough to keep it a little too muddy.
They have started work on the arena cover. Last week the cement footings
went in and there was no using the arena while that was happening.
Anyway, this morning my friend and I went for a ride and the woods were
beautiful, cool, green and shady. We tried some new trails and,as
always, Reggie was a love. One of the trails was a serpentine and we
enjoyed trotting through it like a slalom course. I think Reggie enjoyed
it, too. He always likes a new game.
There was a few deep muddy areas but we were able to work around them.
The horses have been getting an hour or two a day on the summer grass
pastures. They do love getting out there.
