Hello. Because I have been operating a 40 horse, classical riding
equestrian center for the last 18 years, I have not had the time to
get involved in discussion groups etc. But now due to health
constraints I am stepping out to find out what else is going on in the
equestrian world. I ssaw from some recent posts that there is an
interest in Iberian equitation and due to the fact that I have
Lipizzan, Andalusian and Iberian warmbloods I was attracked to this
group. I certainly look forward to conversing with the membrs on
classical concepts and priciples that apply to all styles of riding
and breeds of horses.

Hi.

Sorry to hear about your health problems.

It's always good to have new folks join but I'm wondering if you weren't
thinking of the Classical Dressage Yahoo Group. I think that group, not
this group (newsgroup = rec.equestrian) were recently discussing I Iberians.

Also, you might enjoy posting to the Ultimate Dressage Forum

http://www.ultimatedressage.com/forums/index.php

AS there are plenty of folks there with an interest and expertise in
Iberians.

Still, I am willing to post random Iberian stuff here from those other
groups in an effort to get you to stay here also. :)

Best regards,
sharon

ps. I understand your comment about riding/training/barn management
preventing you from participating in online horse groups. None of my
instructors have found the time to post much, if at all, anywhere. I
have often come into the barn with some comment or another that a
trainer posted on line and a common question from my trainer was asking
how these folks have so much time to yack on line. LOL.
