I am in no way associated with this shop other than having
exchanged many dollars for merchandise over the years.

|For all you quilters who are collecting squares for
|watercolor quilts, here's a way to quickly expand you selection.
|My local needlework shop (California bay area) is offering
|fifty 6" x 6" squares for $10. I verified that they will
|ship out of the area. If you want more information,
|please email me.
I'm interested. Our local mall fabric shop is selling 50 - 6" squares
for $25. Can you find out what the postage is and have you seen
these--are they the typical fabrics sold in every House of Fabrics and
Cloth World or are they different--do they include all values,
especially light and dark Lights?
And how much is shipping? Sorry to bother you, but I am interested if I
am going to get something different from what I've already got!

I'm quoting from their flyer:
_WATERCOLOR PACKETS_ Selectively chosen by
Shirley and cut by Melanie...There are 50 6" x 6" squares and
each square will have a possibility for 9 2" x 2" squares...
wonderful for watercolor quilts...$10.00
(Shirley and Melanie teach quilting classes)
Here's the rest of the info:

I don't know how to answer your question about the fabrics
different from what the large chains have (I'm not a quilter...
at least not yet!) but Carolea has had this shop for about
15 years and has various types of needlework. I'd suggest
you call and talk to Shirley or Melanie.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
