Well, we had our "Stitch and Bitch" quilt-a-thon last Sunday. And you
all were right. Nobody finished the "QID" Christmas Wreath. We came
very close!! The orginal time frame I suggested was 8 hours but being
non-possessed quilters, everyone pooped out at 5-6hrs. I think the
absolutely beautiful crisp day had something to do with it too. Being
a freebie probably didn't help either. The two non-sewing participants
did very well, in fact, one of them out sewed us all! We all had a
great time and will be bringing the wreaths to our usual meeting on
Thursday night. Everyone has called me at one time or another to tell
me they are continuing to work on the quilt. I had really hoped that
this would be the one Quilt in a Day project that would actually fulfill
the title in the series......well, at least they shouldn't be A Quilt in
two years like my first one!!
Thanks for your input, I think it helped quell my disappointment in
the day.

Why are you disappointed? If you all had a great time, that's all
that matters. It's supposed to fun! Since everyone is continuing to
work on their projects, you must have inspired them. I think you
should consider it a success.
