And just in time for the next chemo treatment! I am so glad it is there to
wrap around her during chemo! May it double the benefits of chemo... and
halve the side effects!!

You can see Melissa's HUG in my webshots album... and remember to keep
Melissa and her family in your prayers!

Thanks to each and every one of you who contributed to this HUG. In what
some might call the littlest of ways, we make a HUGE difference. Again...
thank you to all the HUGGERS out there!!

Hi Kate - I went to your webshots page and stopped short!! An ad for
'creating your own' showed an image of my old old cat Charlie, wrapped
in his pink towel. It was one of the last showers that he took in his
lifetime - talk about "moving in mysterious ways!" The series of
Charlie photos are a large part of my Family album pics - he was such
a personality. I shall return to look at your hugs, jennellh

Sis called tonight. Melissa asked for her to. She is too weak. Her last
visit to Mayo, the Dr said the largest tumor is 1/4 the size and the 2nd
one...well...he had HER find it. It was that small.

She really didn't want to go today...then the doorbell rang. You Folks gave
her the courage to go. She took her Hug with her.

Thank you.

This HUG quilt turned out so beautiful - Ginger did a wonderful job in
putting the top together. It's gorgeous and of course is full of
prayers and good thoughts. It's wonderful to see the pictures of
finished HUGS and know they're doing their job.

Shucks, all I did was combine the wondrous blocks everyone sent.
Everything just came together like they had all been talking to each
other!

No shucks about it Ginger - you did a fabulous job - I put one
together for a friend and it's a lot of work - but a whole lot more
fun. Whenever I mail in a block, I just feel so blessed that I'm
participating in a project that hopefully makes the recipient feel
soooooooo good and know that so many of us out here really do care
about one another. There's no greater feeling and to see the picture
of the finished HUG makes me feel so good too that I participated in
something so special..

That hug came out wonderful Ginger. You did an amazing job.
It is a lot of work and well appreciated especially when we
hear how much love it carries to the 'huggee'.

Ginger did a great job setting the mixture of small and large blocks
together; the arrangement of rows highlighted by the horizontal golden
sashing is very effective.

Every block is just lovely ... the plain ones really highlight the intricate
ones, yet are pretty as individuals too.

PAT, sending more good wishes for Melissa & Family

Well, gosh, I am just sooo tickled, gob-smacked, and humbled that
everyone found my setting to be nice. I laid it out, and made very few
changes. This was a very fulfilling effort.

Thanks to all of you who helped put together the HUG quilt. I am sure the
person receiving it will be happy to have it and to know how much effort you
made to show that you care. I had two rounds of chemo for breast cancer last
fall and winter. It affects a person in so many ways, not just physically
but emotionally.

Kate,
I took the time to look at your quilts - they are wonderful as is your neat
sewing room (tell me that you cleaned that to take pictures or I am going to
be shamed!)

I especially loved Rob's star tesselation quilt. The monster quilt is one I
have admired from afar before as well and your colours were great!
