first attempt at self portrait

I tried "Replique" (book by Chris Lynn Kirsch) on a simple photo of my
"back side" for the first attempt. I really enjoyed it. It is pretty
simple to understand. I made some mistakes such as forgetting to trace
the "reverse" of the photo but all in all I like it. I plan to make a
side view next and then the front view. Anyone else tried a self
portrait? or replique?

Great job, but I was disappointed. I expected 'back side' to mean
something a bit lower. :>

That is truly good for a first try. I have not tried it yet. I am waiting
for the baby to come and try it then. How did you decide how many pieces
for the replique?
