Well Hello There All You Sailing Types..... RH LaydeeeeCD here along
with alter ego Pammie. What a lovely welcome home after such a long
time and really chuffed to see so many of the more aged members still
amongst us all ( Aged as in been with RCTQers for such a long long
time.......)Haven't fathomed out how to work this Google thing when
reading mail and newsgroups, it's all changed from the days of steam
compies yew no! But wanted to tell you a little bit of what me and
'Erbert have been up to. Been to lots of places on the Royal Barge and
have now settled for a short time to get the bank balance back into
the deepest shade of black instead of the Vermillion Red as at present
LOL. I still quilt but nothing on the scale I used to mainly because
space being on the squashed size means that I just hate having to put
everything away before I can even eat! I do crochet a great deal
nowadays which I have found extremely enjoyable but it takes a g e s
to get a finished result of any decent size. Still trying to finish a
Shades of Blue Quilt for my youngest son who got married in May 2007
to a lovely lassie in Holland. I did say it was a part of their
wedding pressie but although the top is finished apart from infilling
the unfilled bits along the edge ( hope you are following the plan so
far), the thought of trying to manage a king sized top, wadding and
backing on a boat only 6'10" wide is a tad daunting huh?
Been very busy acting as wardrobe mistress for local school where I
teach a couple of days a week ( yes, I got a skill that I can actually
pass on). Doing the Joseph and Tech. Dreamcoat and after making all
these cossies I don't really want to see a needle and thread for a
little while.
Anyway I have to catch up on a lot of other mail so do please allow me
a breather as I try to get me correspunxxcorisponduncexx letters
wroten and I'll see you all soon.

Hi connie
It's good to see you post after this time away from our cyber frame.
Often I had wondered what had happened to you and the barge
adventures. Seem to recall the locks and canals adventures, and was
imagining treadle powered computers ;)
