Classic $ Saving Debacle

Two weeks ago I bought a lovely pastel plaid fabric on sale (saved at
least $2.00!) for a baby quilt. Today I spent $20 to buy the fabrics to
go with it! Go figure!

Not only have I been there and done that,
I continue to go there and do it all the time!
It's so easy to go broke saving money!

I know what you mean. Early last year I found fabric with a town and
streets which was just perfect for a play quilt for my grandson. As I
remember I had to buy over a yard to get all the locations. Had to
include the police station. Went home and bragged to my DH what a great
present it would be for just a few dollars. Then went to K-Mart and spent
$15 on hot wheels cars to go with it.
