Hello all,
Since I'm a totally absolutely excited about dyeing, which my hubby is
too...actually he wants to discharge dye the tshirts he makes before air
brushing or silk screening...I have put a post on my local internet bulletin
board looking for others who do this as a profession. So far, ONLY QUILTERS
looking for the info I will receive (which there has been NONE) have
responded to me...they are looking for hand dyed fabric locally!! What do
you think, should I try to get the corner on the market, and use this new
venture for a little extra $$$??
Me and hubby were thinking that it would be really great to do something
together, which we've looked to do, and sell them in the consignment
shops...his t shirts, (which are striking!), and my quilts and bags, maybe
some fat quarters and eights as well. Got any good ideas and or advice??
As for the safety of using the dyes, he has graciously volunteered to mix up
the dye FOR me, isn't he sweet?? Plus his "shop" has built in ventilation
in the form of cracks in the wall *hee hee*....but a toasty wood stove,
mmmmm.
