SEX in Tacoma

tonight. We went to Lakewood and stopped in at Shibori Dragon. Then, we
went to Puyallup and visited the Quilt Barn.
What a fun time we had! Sherry restrained herself while Deborah and I
splurged (only a little).
I'm home now, stopping only to give this short report as I've got to pack
for the retreat I'm going to in the morning--4 days at Seabeck on the Hood
Canal with Puyallup Valley Quilters. Oh DARN, another quilting retreat!!

What fun! I've been to the Shibori Dragon and it was a great shop, I'd
love to go back and it's not too far, just a bit off the beaten track
for me and requires dealing with 405 around Renton, which always seems
to be hellish!
I guess there is only one retreat place in Seabeck, my quilt group goes
there twice a year, they were there the last weekend in September, but I
didn't go there this time. I was there in January and should be on the
list for January 09 too.

We did have a great time. It was so nice of Lenore to take the time
to do that for us. She has a job and husband and 3 sons and still
made time for us. Today Sherry and I tried to take county buses to
Gig Harbor for a quilt show. It did not go well. We gave up and
called a cab, which also didn't go too smoothly. We aren't really cut
out for bug city travel. My classes at the MQ Innovations have been
good. Tomorrow we will do the quilt show and vendors, then go home
Sat.
