I've been AWOL for a while. First, I was busy trying to get ready for
Christmas, but then I came down with the flu. There went the last week
before Christmas, of course. :S Oh well. Just about the time that I was
feeling as though I might live, MIL arrived and our Christmas
festivities began in earnest. <G> I think I'm still recuperating from
the flu and the holidays, but I haven't even done anything quilty since
mid-December, unless reading a magazine counts. ;) I had a table runner
in progress, but now I can't remember how I'd planned to quilt it. <G>

To be a little on-topic here, I was given *two* gift certificates to the
LQS for Christmas! Yay! I'm starting to think about a new quilt for our
bed ....

Sandy,

Sorry to hear about the flu but glad you're back and feeling better.

Would that lqs happen to be Quiltique??? I love that place, got to go
there a few times when they first opened while I was staying with my
sister in Henderson.

Sorry you've had the flu, Sandy. Knock on wood, I haven't had the flu
for many years, but when I've had in the past, it seemed to take quite
awhile to get back to 100%, so you just need to keep pampering yourself.

And yes, reading a quilting magazine does count as doing something
quilty. :-)

Thanks, Michelle. I'm feeling almost back to normal, except for this
persistent cough and a lack of stamina. I keep hoping I'll feel inspired
to begin quilting my table runner .... ;)

Thanks, Judie. Yes, it would definitely happen to be Quiltique! :) I
love it, too! :)

Glad you are feeling better. That is pretty bad timing.
Hope the new year will offer better health for you.
Hugs, Taria

Thanks, Taria. I can't really complain, since it's been many years since
I've had the flu. <G> I guess it was just my turn.
