Hi all -

I'm just back from the SOCS - SAC festival, and just have to pass
on two comments from a course my DH took (only male in the course - the teacher
wouldn't use her jokes since he was there - he wouldn't have minded!):

The instructor has 243 (or some large number like that) UFOs!!
One of them is a permanent UFO as she has lost the pattern! Can we all feel
better now?

Also, the teacher taught them (this was the beginning cross stitch class)
the "frog stitch". It's when you go "rip, rip, rip".

I'll have at trip report soon and a "review" of MarthaBeth's name tag :-) !!

Holy Cow, Beverly!

As a graduate student and "mother" of three furry babies, when do you find
time to indulge in needlearts? You deserve a standing ovation, lady! ! ! :)
