Just wanted to thank the person who posted up a link to a picture of this fairy
that she'd stitched - I went out of the message and then it seemed to disappear
(is this something to do with my newsgroup settings on AOL I wonder?) The work
looks beautiful, and a totally new take from the picture of the stitched piece
that you get with the chart initially - having seen your photo, I can now
understand the use of DMC 504! Also the wings show up marvellously - and I can
see why you need multiple reels of Kreinik!!#
Thanks!

Not a problem :) She was actually quite fun to stitch, and came
together really quickly (7 weeks). She's the first large piece I fell
in love with and wanted to stitch, so it was a real treat to get to
stitch her :)

Aaargh! Now I KNOW I'm the slowest stitcher in the world. MSNF has been
sitting on my frame for over 2 years now.

I'll probably still be a dog. There's just so little hope of

Nah ... I just stitch abnormally fast for a beginner. I also managed
to get in 4-5 hours a night most of the time, on her, so that helped.
Adia took me 11 weeks. Angel of Hope is on her 7th week now, and
nowhere close to done (well, I've gotten the wings completed, most of
her blue sash, and her hair & face (face done over 1; tho I could have
done better and smoothed it out a bit; it was my first attempt at over
1); at the same time, I've taken a 2-week break during the stitching of
this one (who doesn't have to be done til the end of the month) because
all the white is driving me insane *lol*

Hi jen,
I cannot believe that you completed MSNF sooo fast! Mind you, I am finding it
fastish, but I think this is simply as I love the design and have a lot of time
to stitch at the moment! Finished a major part of the skirt now. I just love
the way the colour changes come about - they are often so surprising, but they
DO work, even though you think at the time that it is a strange combination! I
have several of the mermaid designs on my to do very soon list! Lol. Keep up
the good work with angel of hope.#

We won't even get into the # of Mirabilia designs I have sitting
waiting for me to stitch! *lol* Tho it's my understanding that it's not
nearly as many as other people have! The skirt really seemed to take
forever, but the blending filiments and beading took even longer!
