OT: Help with Native American History please?

A young friend of mine has elected to study Native American History
for her School Certificate Exam. Unfortunately, here in Oz, there's
not terribly much resource material available!

I wondered whether any of you might know of some good websites I could
direct her to in her search for information. She's after actual
documents concerning political decisions, as well as costume details,
mythology, traditions and the usual sorts of things one would want to
know.

Email responses would probably be more sensible, considering the OT
nature of this request.
