Embroidered replicas of famous art?

I would like to make embroidered versions of some selected famous oil
paintings but I have no idea weather people like this kind of art
style or not. Does anyone have any ideas about it? In fact, we did make some
of silk embroidery paintings that you can view them at

Hi Dianne,
If you like the ones at Uncharted Territory, you might want to look at these,
Quin has a tremendous collection at Odds and In's. And check out "the project"
on the golden kite website....Absolutely stunning!
