April 30, I called an art supply warehouse (*not* Artist's Supply
Warehouse!) and ordered a set of Prismacolor ArtStix. The person that
took my order told me they were on back-order and that I would not get
them until the middle of June. I agreed. Well, the middle of June came
and went and so I called the company to check on my order. "Oh, we're
glad you called! Your order was put on hold for some reason, but we'll
ship it right out to you! You'll get it in a week! Thanks for calling!"
Yeah, right! A week goes by. No ArtStix. Call #2. "They have been
shipped and you should receive them in a week." Uh-huh. Another week
passes. No ArtStix. Call #3. "Gee, you should have had them by now. Let
me check......Well, we shipped them RPS and they couldn't find you, so
they sent them back. We'll ship them out on a rush via UPS and you
should have them within the week." Sure. Nothing, nada, zip. Call
#4-today. "I'm really sorry about this, ma'am. They were shipped Parcel
Post *yesterday*." I am *not* happy. On top of all this, they had my
name spelled wrong! Well, at least this time, the guy on the phone said
that if I don't have them by Friday I should call back and ask for him
and he will personally find out what the problem is and do what he can
to remedy the situation. Well, if my ArtStix don't get here by Friday
*intact*, I'm going to do more than just call back----again! Beware the
thwarted artist!!!! I shall be avenged!!! Legal action looms!!!
And just because I'm so angry with these jerks, I'm going to tell you
all who they are---Jerry's Artarama. Good prices, *extremely* lousy
service.
Sorry to vent all over you guys, but I was sure you'd all understand my
anger and frustration. I feel better now. Thanks.

*that* far back in the swamp!!)
