Taking the plunge into fractals

Well, maybe just dipping my toe into fractals.

I've ordered two of Cross Stitch Collectibles
fractal bookmark charts. I figured if I manage
to do the bookmarks I might attempt one of
the larger charts.

Ooooh, I love them I can't wait to see progress pictures! That first
one looks a wee might insane though... :)

I'm slowly working on fractal # 38 - carefull counting is the key on
these patterns, but they work up great!

Thanks for the tip. As a mathematician I'm usually
very careful counting. Counting on the Celtic Knot
bookmarks is getting me prepared.

As an aside, when I received the two charts they had
included the wrong picture of one of the bookmarks.
They immediately sent me a replacement when I
pointed out the error and also offered a free bookmark
chart. I ended up selecting # 53 which I think I'll
start first...not quite as complicated.
