What the hey - I just got an email that my "digital copy" was ready for
download.
Does that mean I'm not getting my paper copy anymore?

Hi Cheryl - it might be spam... I read something on another list about
this... I'm trying to find it so I can quote it - but I read so many
lists these days I can't figure out where I read it!!
Can you check with Just Cross Stitch?

Ah! Karen, you're probably right. I can't seem to find the messages
that I read and I am only hazy about the details. Sorry for any
confusion.
Now I'm interested though - Wouldn't you think JCS would make an
annoucement about something this big?

Yes there is a digital version of the magazine. The J/F issue is
free. It was mentioned in the N/D issue in an ad. It is not a
replacement for the paper copy, just an addition. We want to know how
people like it. Would you pay for it in addition to your paper copy
or would you pay to have it instead of your paper copy, etc? We're
just testing it to see what interest there is out there. Our Canadian
and foreign subscribers should like it because they can view the issue
at the same time those of us in the US receive it.

Hi Janet!

Cathy from KY in CA here. I have received The Gift of Stitching since
it started.....I love the mag......but I also love my glossy JCS!
It would be a hard decision for me!!

When my laptop was recently stolen, Kirstin of TGOS had no problem
resending the past year for me to download. I guess I've learned
my lesson on staying up to date on backing up data!!!
