Linda Myers "After The Rain"
"AFTER THE RAIN was taken from an actual place. The old barn stands here, near
the end of the autumn season, in a glorious light and mood, created after an
autumn shower."~ L. Myers, Artist. This design, published in 1984, is quite
detailed. You can see the clouds rolling away and a little trickle of water
flowing down the road. There are hazy mountains in the background and a sole
bird flying overhead. Ms. Myers states that his can be easily adapted for

This is a quick and easy leaflet for that quick family gift. Finished designs

"The Bride"- Leisure Arts #2031 (Carol Emmer)
This is a design of the bride facing forward (seated) holding a prayer book
with her bouquet resting on her veil. You can see the folds in her dress as she
sits posed, as if waiting to be photographed. Never used but I trimmed the
excess on the side and bottom to make it fit in a binder (does not effect the

This 1994 design by this popular designer features a Cupid atop blocks that

Betty Whiteaker's "Family Tree"

Really a different design. Never used. It has a floral border with a large tree
in the middle. At the base of the tree you stitch the family name and the
branches have boxes for each persons name/birthdate and/or various sayings. The
floss colors include pinks (dark and light), greens, browns, and purples.

that looks like a whole mini quilt), make pillows or stitch the blocks and
actually put them together as a quilt. Patterns included are: Triple Irish
Chain (with bright, pastel, or tapestry color options), Tree of Life (can be
done in green and pink or dk wine and blue), Star of Bethlehem (bright or
pastel color option), Fox and Geese (red or blues), Sunshine and Shadows (Amish
or pastel colors), and Barn Raiding/Log Cabin (Antique or Pastel color choice).

Mill Hill's "Band Sampler II"
Amazingly enough there is minimal beading in this one Dan the most adorable
sheep are at the bottom. The sampler is stitched in pastels (although colors
could easily be changed) and has satin stitch, smyrna cross and cross stitches.
A great way to learn two new stitches for the beginner. Also shows a sheep
finished in the top of a porcelain jar. Chart was originally $2.50, offer is
