I broke down a few weeks ago and bought a set of 48 of
the Prismacolor watercolor pencils...when I was scrapping
at Janae's, her dil used them and it looked so neat. I
haven't broken into mine yet, though (except to put them
in rainbow-order by color...I'm so obsessive-compulsive!)

Question: Janae's dil used a blending pen with hers...
where do I get this? What do I look for? In the scrapping
or art supplies? What brand is best?

The directions inside the tin say to use a wet paintbrush,
but I'm really scared to do that...no control, don't want
to smear other things, etc.

I really want to try these, but need your help, ladies!!

Hannah, I use a blending pen from Tombow, looks like the regular brush
markers, but is clear. I was going to post about the Dove Blender. Is it the
same as the Tombow? I heard that it was refillable, is this also true??? I
love my watercolor pencils. I usually use them to outline the design and
then the blender to bring the color into the center. Have fun!

I bought a 2 pack of these at AC Moore this morning for $1.07. They were in
the art section right above the pencils.

I thought about getting these pencils. What kind of things are you guys using
these on? I've seen them used with stamps...anything else? Are there any
idea books for scrapping with watercolor pencils?

You could use them for coloring anything you would color with a marker. It
just gives a much softer effect.

I think that there is some confusion going on. There seems to be 2
different types of blenders- one for colored pencils such as the Prismacolor
and then the one for markers. They both do the same effect but on different
things. Just be sure that you buy the correct one for whichever you are
using. I use the colored pencils and bought the prismacolor one at AC Moore
in the art department.
