Christmas Cards

I just mailed out about 45 cards this morning.... got to thinking.... I have
only recieved ONE card from the group and it is from M-C. It is only FOUR
mailing days till Christmas and some people NEED to get on the ball. Total I
have 6 cards..... way down from past yrs..... 1 from M-C, 3 from family, 1
from a school reunion person, and one from an abilene scrapper!

I am the same except I haven't mailed any out. I went to work full-time and
don't have the time I used to. I think too with the price of stamps it's
crazy. But I still send them out if I have time. It's fun to get cards.
And I have really enjoyed making them. I guess I will have a start on next
years cards since I haven't mailed out any. :) But my cards I have received
from family and friends is way down like yours also. It just doesn't seem
like christmas. It came up on me way to fast.

We've got far less than usual too... I mailed out my first batch
today. I have to make some more because I sold some of my cards a few
weeks ago (my first card sale!) and I don't have enough handmade cards
left, so I'm going to do some New Years cards instead... I sent about
20 cards today and I've got another dozen to do, but thats far less
than I've been known to send out some years.

I just got cards in the mail *yesterday* for family here!
I can't access the RCS website (wah), I've had a virus and I
guess the link was corrupted or something...anyone got the real
thing?

That's a good idea! Even though I missed out on several months of CCC's,
I still had about 60 hand made cards or so that we have been dipping
into as needed (personal gifts, neighbors' kids, teachers, etc.) and
it's been really nice to hear the comments about how they like the cards.

You know you did good when a second grade boy opens his card and says,
"Hey, what a cool card!" :-)
