Watercolor Quilt Exchange

I saw a message from Erika Shugart about trading colors with someone
else in an exchange.
While this one is not a problem, let me give you a little of my
philosophy about making up the groups:
a) I tried to make each group as geographically diverse as possible.
b) I assigned people different colors in each exchange, because if you
have the same color in two exchanges and use the same fabrics, your net
stash is 130 different fabrics, not 140, and you probably are not
getting some of the color that may be your favorite but may be available
in wonderful prints somewhere else in the country.
c) I very carefully assigned folks to different groups so they would
exchange with new people in each group, thereby increasing your
potential "electronic pen pals" and decreasing the chances (slim as they
may be) for getting two exchanges from someone who doesn't understand
the philosophy.
This turns out to be a delicate undertaking, much more complicated than
I thought when I screwed up and gave myself Blue in Exchange #2 and my
friend, with whom I had gone together for fabric Blue in #1, and then
discovered that there was a person who was in both Exchanges #1 and
#2--so I had to get 10 more blues so that person would not get two
packages of the same blues!
So, if you need, for some reason to change the exchanges, please let me
know, so I can change the records and keep track of where everything is
supposed to be and who is doing what.
