Virtual Ceramics Competition

I'd like to draw your attention to CerCoN, the first virtual ceramics
competition on the Internet. This is a virtual competition which will
culminate in an on-line exhibition of participants work.
As you may be aware, more and more ceramic artists are getting involved
in the Internet -there are more personal homepages, ceramics societies,
educational institutions and so on appearing every week. Computers are
part of the curriculum in many art schools and universities.
CerCoN gives ceramic artists the opportunity to get involved in a
virtual competition and exhibition on the Internet, without actually
having to be connected themselves. Entry is by slide or photo only, so
homepages are not relevant. There are computer and ceramics related
prizes to be won. Entries close 31st December 1996. You will find more
information in the attached file 'cercon.txt'.
I would be pleased if you could make your group members, staff or
students aware of this competition by printing out the attached
'Conditions of Entry' and the 'Entry Form' and passing it on to them.
