HELP! I need a glue for watercolor paper, one that doesn't bend or wrinkle
the paper. I am gluing paper, buttons and seashells. I need a glue with a
very strong bond. I have tried tacky glue, rubber cement, elmers glue,
wallpaper paste, and hot glue. It has to dry clear.

Have you tried E-6000 or Crafter's Goop?

Sounds like the glue called Perfect Paper Adhesive is what you are looking
for. It is sold by Art Quest - they have a web site if you do a search. If
you let the glue sit out in a cup for a day, it gets thicker, instead of
hard like most glues. You want to use it in a thickened state to adhere
heavier objects to your paper, It is wonderful stuff. Alot of craft and
rubberstamp stores are now carrying this product too.
