Hobby Lobby did have some of these crayons. You may have to ask
for some help in finding them. They are in a small box that is often
hard to find. They look very bright when you first color them, but
they fade to pastel when washed.

Call some of the fabric stores in your area. I think that Minnesota
Fabrics' name in California is either Hancock Fabrics or Fabric
Warehouse. They usually have fabric crayons. Sometimes office supplies
and drug stores carry them.

We just learned about these in fibers' class! I think the reason for the
fading is because of the cotton content in the cloth. These are disperse
dyes and can bond *only* with synthetic fibers like polyester-the higher
the non-synthetic content the less color-fast these dyes are.
