Heh. ;-)
Unfortunately, The People's Republic of California has gone to the left - I
wonder if that's somehow related to the "Left Coast" appellation? ;-)
California isn't sinking into the ocean[1] - California is sinking into the
abyss of socialism.
Maybe the rest of the country could just go ahead and cede California to
Mexico - they've pretty much taken over anyway. And, of course, let the
socialists pay their own damn bills!

Washington, Oregon, California - the leftist enclaves make the rest of

I see political bullshit as continuing completely unabated.
I also do not see Republican gains as being as monumental as some here
apparently are perceiving.
Policy wise, I do not see big changes, and I do not expect big reforms
coming in the next two years. What Democrats promised to the
electorate in 2008, has been mostly done to a large extent. The next
two years will see little action, as Republicans in the House would
not effect a lot of changes.

so let me get this straight - are you rejoicing in the reduction in the

As for those who notice that the level of off-topic political postings

writes.
Agreed - though if the rightists want to participate in real

noise, hollering at the wind. And pissing off those who think that
this is actually a metalworking group.

Saw it in at least two different election night speeches. And no, it's
not worth my time to dig it up just for you. Unless, of coursem you'd

They're no different than child sexual predators or a dog that's tasted

They don't stop because they have no self-control. Sociopaths, without
conscience, they just don't have any respect for others, or guidelines that
they don't see as being beneficial to themselves.
And the same is true for the folks that must post a reply to support every
whim of the bullshit trash posters.
A typical bullshit post from Gummer, the only one that didn't receive a
reply in RCM for a very long time, was when he was publicly asking someone
to help him in an illegal activity.. possibly a Federal violation, and maybe
a felony.
10-18-2010 Anyone have a serial number for Honeywell Process Instrument
Explorer?
Since he was later offering the controllers for sale.. it may be assumed
that he received the stolen information he was seeking, or that he knows the
controllers aren't fully operational as-is (and may not be telling any
potential buyers about the problem).
Clueless, misguided fuckwits. They just can't help themselves.
My posting in this thread is just a reminder (for those that need an
explanation).

Its treason only if you are a Republican.
Years of Democrats doing this is considered Following the Party Line.
And if they didnt say that....they damned sure should have.
Shut the bastards on the Left down. Put a clamp on them. Bridle them,
nail em to the wall..and let the Leftwing stew in their own juices, with
more and more of their consitutants starting to throw tomatos at
them..then rocks..then bullets and barbed wire nooses.
If the boat is sinking...its good enough to keep bailing, if you dont
have enough votes to fix the hole.
I rather think the Republicans will bail for the next two years..then
let the People know who put the hole in the boat, and let them know that
if they continue to let them make law..they will keep drilling more
holes and the Republicans can only bail so long with the numbers they
have. So either vote in more Republicans..or let the damned thing sink.
Btw....your claim that its actually "treason"..is simply more Leftwing
buffoonery.
And in fact...applies far more closely to this administration and its
followers..than any other group:
Title 18 of the United States Code defines treason and gives it the
added emphasis that a death penalty tends to add, as follows, at 2381:
"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against
them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the
United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death,
or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this
title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any
office under the United States."
So you or any other Leftwinger need to be reminded of the specifics of
the Treason your party has committed over the last 40 yrs?
This little part alone would kill off most of the DNC..and its useful
idiots...
"or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the
United States or elsewhere,"

I've been watching that ship of state with interest. Businesses are baling

One immediate choke point is the need to raise the federal
debt limit if the government is to continue to operate on
the "borrow and spend, spend, spend" basis past c. May 2011.
There now appears there are enough tea party legislators in
the house to prevent consideration/passage of such a raise
in the debt limit, and as the Vietnam era adage has it "when
you got them by the balls, their hearts and minds will
follow." However this may be done during the "lame duck
session" while Reed/Pelosi still have enough votes to ram it
through Congress by [unrecorded] voice vote.
The governmental shutdown that would result from the
Congressional refusal to increase the debt limit would be
highly disruptive, but will occur in only a few years
anyhow, when no one will loan to the U.S. government except
at usurious rates and in currency other than the U.S.

Who else can they blame? For instance: A local deputy was stabbed
several times by a 'suspect' but the deputy pulled his 'gun' and fired
'several fatal shots' after he hit the floor. Does the Deputy get extra
credit for killing him more than once? How can the man be a 'suspect'
when he's slicing the deputy's neck open with a box cutter?
A couple years ago the local paper had a story about a pickup truck
that was hit & rolled on a local highway. The photos showed a truck,
yet they called it a car more than a dozen times, in print.
