I don't think the teabaggers would consider Gummer to be one of them.
The NY Times conducted a poll on the teabaggers to find out more about
who they are and they found out that the average teabagger is a white
male in his fifties, has a college education, and makes more than 50K a
year. In other words, they're just ordinary republicans but ones that
are running around telling everyone how pissed off they are that Obama
isn't running the country the way they want. Well, boo hoo. I guess I
have to remind them once again. Their side lost the election. They don't
get to have it like they want it when they lose. Somebody needs to break
the news to them that they aren't in the majority any more.

Look you Dodo, don't you get it? Nobody is scared of Gummer. He's a
joke. He's an old man with a heart that has been surgically repaired,
he's made up all kinds of stories about how bad he is but we know they
are just that, stories. So get it through your head. Gummer ain't bad.
He's a lying putz and is lucky to still be breathing. If you are so
stupid to think he's anything but a big mouth you're just as gullible as
a 13 year old girl.

There isn't going to be a civil war. If anything, Washington D.C.
will be Ground Zero, and the rest of the population will watch the
mess unfold on TV like they did on 9/11/01

The Administration will be under attack. Malice at the Palace. Some
nitwits will announce they they are now in charge, and will either be
laughed at or strung up. This may go to the V.P. from his secret
dungeon where he will control the military response to the civil
disobedience, if the POTUS is no longer around.

So you think Obama will ignore Posse Comitatus.... ME TOO!

"The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. §
1385) passed on June 18, 1878, after the end of Reconstruction, with the
intention (in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807) of
substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the
military for law enforcement. The Act prohibits most members of the
federal uniformed services (today the Army, Navy, Air Force, and State
National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from
exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer
powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states and
their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States."

It should be simple for Gunner to find.

Many Leftwingers on Usenet..now..they may be tortured for days before

Do you think that the military will become widely involved? Or will they
barrack themselves and wait for the blood to stop flowing?

So if I were to go off the reservation..what makes you think Id leave
the state to commit "mayhem"? Folks here could spend years hunting
them down and destroying them.
They are like ants.
Lots of them in odd places.

They could..declare Martial Law..at which point they could act inside
the US for the duration.

But given the shear dislike conservatives have for Leftwingers...think
they will go to any great effort to protect them?

Ive not formed an opinion on that yet. I suspect..that large numbers of
them will simply load up..and go home for th duration.

Will he be able to see Russia from the porch?

Will Klaus greet him in his pink tutu?

Will he have a teabag as a reminder of their night together?

I am pretty sure TMT lives in the state of fruits and nuts. So Gunner
would not have to cross state lines.

Nah..most of the illegal latiinos coming into the US are from the
poorest areas of Mexico. They are more than willing to be pure
Capitalists.

But they are breaking the law(s) in doing this and should not be allowed
to do so.

Unless those that think they should, will turn a blind eye to the mass
killings of Leftwingers?

Because you asked me yesterday for the definition of "mayhem," and
indicated that my mis-use of the word left me with my ass showing.

In fact, YOU are the one with the mental donut hole in your head; I

OTOH, those coming out of Mexico, might see the suppression of one

I did. Saturday it was raining and thundeery - my local logger
decided he wasn't climbing no trees in the wet. And that was before
the thunderstorm.
Sunday after the wedding, we topped the one remaining hazardous
tree. Almost went where intended - almost. But it did hit the
alternative target, so no damage done to the neighbor's shed. Now
I've all this slash to deal with. But this is so much fun...

He has the chain saws, I've a double bit axe. And a bow saw. And
an electric chainsaw - with a fifty foot extension. And a machete.
One good thing about being a Boy Scout in Hawaii - I learned a little
bit about using one of those.
Just going to have to go at it, one bit at a time.

I had a tamarack splinter enter the palm of my glove, facing towards the
fingers and go completely THROUGH the palm and out the back of my hand,
and was sticking through the glove on the far side. I was trimming a
large tree and slipped and grabbed a broken branch..kinda sorta.

Luckily..it didnt hit anythng major, pretty much went between the bones
and missed most of the muscles...but it looked rather absurd, like a
costume shop prank item. Didn really hurt much either, for..humm..about
5 minutes. Then it started. Kept me on my toes for a while. And I had
to drive myself to the ER..a trip about 25 miles one way. Each bump in
the road.....hurt. That old Chevy 3 speed on the column pickup truck
and I managed to get to town..but it was a bit awkward.....

I walked in, lifted my hand to the ER staff..and asked..."anyone any
good with splinters"??

(I tend to have something of a morbid sense of humor)...the gal at the
check in desk looked up..turned green..started to slide out of her chair
and I hollered "Hey!"... at her..and she snapped back to real time. Good
gal. Chuckle..she started to ask if Id sign in..and I looked over at
her..at my hand..back at her..and asked her if she had an inkwell, as I
thought I could do pretty well with the end of the splinter....<G> She
cringed, filled it out while the ER was being readied..and I marked a
big X with the end of the splinter in blood. She wasnt..amused.

A few minutes later..a shot of Demeral..and they could have cut my
entire arm off and I would have handed them the saw. Crom but I used to
love Demeral..then after my second back surgery..it Coded me..and I cant
have it any more...sigh... I enjoy that heart beat far far too much.
Course..when its my Time..a couple shots of Demeral might be a good way
to check out.

Shrug

A few years later..a young North Vietnames kid did pretty much the same
thing to my other hand, with the triangular bayonet on the end of a
Chicom SKS. That didnt hurt for at least 30 minutes. And he didnt feel
a thing a minute after he did it. Ever again.

Though to be fair..the bayonet was smaller.

Shrug

Gunner, whos hands are moderately scarred...shrug again. And he has
problems with his little finger because of that splinter..so seldom hits
the ' keys and the little finger keys.

Le Shrug - absence of pain is a wonderful thing.

I had to get fingerprinted for the job today. That little finger
got broke a few years back - nothing serious, but it's just enough off
that fingerprinting becomes "fun". At least I don't have arthritis as
bad as the one gal. Could see her wince as her wrist was turned to
get the full print.
Sigh, the old "I complained because I had no shoes ..." bit.

"It could be worse. I could live in California."

I missed the Staff Meeting but the Minutes record that Shall not be

He's got his own yard to play in, this is mine! And I'm having
fun doing it. Or not doing it.

Crom no! I would have stabbed her..I had about 4" sticking out of the
backside..and about 3" sticking out the palm side. When I wrote
that...I had a sharp memory of the incident..and the pain. As I
mentioned..thats one of the reasons I dont hit the little finger keys
all that well..

Most of California is pretty nice. Even some of the more urban areas.
Just not all of them.
