void _-void-_ in the obvious place
Nice - but pointless. 120kg of aluminium used to make a 3.6kg helmet?
- that's not metalworking, that's computer programming. But very
impressive too......what you would expect of a modern CNC milling
machine...

"First Law of Leftist Debate
The more you present a leftist with factual evidence
that is counter to his preconceived world view and the
more difficult it becomes for him to refute it without
losing face the chance of him calling you a racist, bigot,
homophobe approaches infinity.
This is despite the thread you are in having not mentioned
race or sexual preference in any way that is relevant to
the subject." Grey Ghost
Bloody Hell Gunner - your getting more and more obscure - what on
earth are you talking about?

Cycle time = total time it takes to make a completed part on a automated
(CNC) machine tool.
Shop rate is based on hourly. If ones shop rate is say...$65 per
hour..and they make (1) per day....the cost of that part is 8x65 plus
materials....$520 in machine time, plus materials = Cost.
If you bid them at $700..you are golden..if you bid them at $500....you
lost your ass big time.
You forget that I do this professionally...and am rather good at it. I
forget that you are a hobby guy and while not "stupid" are
occasionally...a bit "limp" <VBG>
Here..this may help you....
