This would be funny if it weren't also pretty sad:

She had to do this, despite only accepting pre-approved questions. And there
are actually human beings walking around who think she should be President.

Six words, stupid. A good speaker uses notes, not like a certain jackass
we know who can't give a speech without a TelePrompter. At least Palin
doesn't need to lug one of those around everywhere she goes.

Any psychologist will tell you that being questioned brought her back
to those tests in college. She resorted to the tricks that helped in
all the colleges from which she quit when the going got tough.

You can clearly see how she looks at the palm of her hand, looking for
the answers in a "cheating sheet" which in 2010 is not there. Still,
it is a comforting reflex.

What did she do if the professor noticed her cheating? Ah! Her
infallible defense, she turned on her sex appeal, bringing attention
to her legs.

Count how many times she caresses her lower extremities. After all,
why stop using the techniques which have never failed her?

Fred, you do realize that your defense of Ms. Palin reflects on your
intelligence, correct?

It has been widely acknowledged -worldwide- that one of the main
factors in Obama's electoral victory was his superior debating and
oratory skills.

You obviously don't agree that for a person to "write" (yeah, right!)
a book it is a requirement that s/he must already read one?

When asked to mention one book or even magazine by Katie Couric, she
could not mention one.

But let's give her a break, maybe she was too nervous or taken by
surprise.

Let's give Sarah a year to review her performance at her most
notorious interview's and to recap something -anything!- that she has
read. Enters Oprah:

Oprah: "When Katie Couric inquired you read about your readings you
never answered... What books have you read? What magazine do you
follow?"

Ms. Palin: "I didn't answer because she was too pushy". (*)

The question remains unanswered. The mystery continues...

-Ramon

(*) started to wink, but then realized that Oprah doesn't go that way.

Your Messiah and the progressive controlled congress are not only on
the road to self destruction but the planned destruction of the
fundamental framework of this country. They're making
inexcusable, inexplicable decisions that affect the safety of the
country. Yet you bedwetting, anklebiting PDS sufferers are focused on
whether Sarah Palin,a private citizen, wrote something on her hand to
help her make her talking points during an interview. Again you
progressives illustrate just how desperate you are and are completely
unable to defend what the progressives controlling the country are
doing. If Obama and congress were to move toward center they'd get a
helluva lot more support from the American people but they continue to
stick to the Saul Alinsky handbook and move even furter to the left.
I'll be their demise.

The whole argument is lame and pathetic. Lots of people use
teleprompters.

They were not allowed in the 2008 election debates and they won't be
allowed in the 2012 election debates. No pre-selected questions
either. No winking. No cheat sheets. No leg caressing.

Almost as bad as a real president who does not have the word "corpsman" in
his vocabulary.

HEY, I JUST READ IT, I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT, PRONOUNCE IT CORRECTLY, OR HAVE
TO EXPLAIN IT.

Funny thing, too, that he translated a Creole dialect (no doubt with the
help of a staff of twelve), but has trouble with common American words and
phrases. And it's not the first time. Or the tenth time. Or the fiftieth
time. And this guy graduated from where? And his IQ is supposed to be
what? Any dumb ghetto Afro person who has spent time in the service knows
what a corpsman is, and how it is pronounced. But that would eliminate
Barry on two counts.

Snicker...Winston has a crush...Winston has a crush.

Just like the other 17% of those who think Palin is Presidential
material.

At the same point in Reagan's first time his numbers were LOWER than
Obama's. You still have to wait for 7 years before you judge Obama's
presidency.

A written speach is one thing.
IIRC Even Lincoln had written down his Gettysburg Address.
Simple Q & A is quite another.

Or are you claiming it was a put-up fraud & she could not even

What notes. Looked like subjects to talk about without any help from a
teleprompter. Liberal are truly ignorant fools. Buckwheat has a lot more
than subjects wrote down on his teleprompter. Buckwheat could have had
any number of subjects wrote down on hand, paper etc. and he still
wouldn't have known what to say without his teleprompter.

You are an ignorant FOOL. There wasn't any resemblance to cheating wrote
on her hand what so ever. It was just subjects to talk about. You left
wing wackos are not even remotely able to use your brain. Buckwheat
would have had more than subjects on his teleprompter.

It's funny how some Rightards will buy into this sort of spin. Ignorant
people who are so gullible and eager to unquestioningly swallow and
regurgitate lies and spin, such as the birther scam, which is why
corporate manipulation of the electorate with sophisticated and heavily
funded media campaigns is such a worry. Slickly packaged and endlessly
repeated lies will drown out both truth and reason, being far more
palatable and digestible to the intellectually hapless and easily misled
voters they are targeted to, i.e., those who are simply unprepared and
unequipped to sort out the facts from the coming tidal wave of lies.

God, guns and guts made America great.

And Janet Napolitano nervous.

Which should tell you all you need to know about Democrats. How can one
restore America to greatness if greatness makes you uncomfortable?

It's pretty much all they have. The big O has been notable for his losses
over the past year. The Olympics, Copenhagen, 3 elections, health care
"deform". Guy seems to pull a black cloud along with him whereever he goes.

Under the circumstances, grasping at straws against potential opponents is
about all the left has. There certainly isn't anything substantial and
positive they can talk about. So childish stupidity is about all they have.

Typically, that's what Obama does too -- read his speech. Difference
is, he can speak intelligently off the cuff too. Imagine Palin having
a sit down with Democrats askin her hard questions.

You kidding? Of course they'll have cheat sheets. They always do. And

I love how they've even gone to the "blame Bush" well too many times
for it to be effective. I guess the next state of the union will be
the same set of platitudes, only this time a few Sarah Palin jokes and
maybe a Glenn Beck one...

It's pathetic, not funny. A college educated law professor who has no
original thoughts, but who must repeat what is fed to him on a teleprompter.
Max Headroom was a better automated speaker. Where is all the intelligence
and knowledge this man is SUPPOSED to possess?

Imagine him being YOUR lawyer on a serious case, and doing his jury
summation.

On second thought, forget that. I can't imagine it, therefore it would be
wrong to ask you to imagine it.

I've heard him speak "off the cuff". I hear very little intelligence there.
I hear very little original thought. Clichs and verbose combinations of
words that are just Newspeak.

Here's my take on sitting the two of them down for hard questions. Palin
would answer as a normal person, maybe not the most eloquent of the two.
Buckwheat would go on into the ozone on literary painting trips, splashing
his literary pallet all over the place, except on the answer.

I have. I used to MC promotion and retirement parties while in the
Army. Never once had to write something on my hand. In fact It think
it's an utterly juvenile thing to do. When my daughter was young she'd
write phone numbers on her had and I made her stop. It's an absolutely
asinine thing to do.
And to be honest the cheaters in school did it easily when ever they
wanted. The DUMB kids wrote on their hands and got caught. And that's
what she is..the dumb kid in class who got caught cheating.

Obama selectively calls on journalists, unlike Palin, who cribs answers to
pre-approved questions from a single group of friendly questioners.

As compared to Obama only selectively calling on journalists who he knows
are friendly to him? ;)

Sleep well tonight,

Some points to ponder:
Why is it good if a vacuum cleaner really sucks?
Why is the third hand on a clock called the "second hand"?
Why did Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
Why do we sing "Take me out to the ballgame" when we are already
there?

It's only significant in the context of the OP's remark and cite.
Requiring the submission of questions in advance isn't the same thing as
excluding FOX from pool.
About the only thing Obama and Palin have in common is their citizenship.
