They're invertebrates with no brain and no central nervous system, you
stupid weepy "animal rights" fuckwit.

Animals do not have - *cannot* have - rights. Get over your infantile
emotionalism.

Fuck you too, George. Get over your stupid "stomp 'em dead" emotionalism. Who the fuck said anything about animal rights? You're so blinded with hatred that you can't see beyond the tip of you barbed tongue.

Jellyfish ARE part of the ecosystem. Destroying them all... what could possibly go wrong?

Did anyone check to see if shredding actually kills a
jellyfish, or do the pieces simply regrow and make more new
jellyfish?

Oystermen ran into this problem when they attempted to
control a perceived starfish epidemic by cutting any
starfish they netted in half and throwing the pieces back
into the ocean. This actually made the problem worse
because the two halves would regenerate into two starfish.

Perhaps the same thing that happened when you Americans destroyed the
American Buffalo and the pigeons (whatever their name was).

(other peoples have destroyed other animals, just using America
because it came to mind)

Likely counterproductive. IIRC, Jellyfish (at least the "Sea
Nettles" in the Chesapeake) were the sort of thing which would grow
new jellyfish from each part after chopping up. These "bots" will
result in a massively increased number of jellyfish over time, not the
intended decrease.

Enjoy,
DoN.

P.S. And I'll probably plonk this thread tomorrow, if it does not go
away. :-)
