I have a question for you fellows out there. Can a tig outfit serve to
take the place of a gas welder to silver solder and or braze materials
together. I keep reading thread on adding a pulsar unit to improve the
effeciaency of a unit. What is a pulsar unit and purpose does it
serve. Enjoying and learning from all the TIG related Threads Thanks

Yes, the TIG unit can be used for brazing. I was given some
special(?) TIG brazing rod (don't use flux). I tried it and it does
work. Of course, like any other TIG operation the metal must be
extremely clean for good results.
