Heh, I gave Obama a lot of money for his campaign, mostly because every time
I saw effingPalin, I went into a cold sweat and would furiously type my cc
number into Obama's website....

I wonder if I can get my money back......

I think I got my smart meter (Yonkers, NY) before the Obamarama.
These things usually have a long lead/lag time -- eg, the Bank Debacle was
actually initiated by Clinton, altho no doubt fueled by Bush.....

My gas meter was modified to make it is semi-smart, as well..
I regret having let Con Ed put these things in -- don't think they can be
un-done, either.

As per your comments, they are butt another consumer assfucking waiting to
happen. All change is bad change. This ballyhooed banking reform/change is
just half-assed fixing the corral after all the horses are long out and
gone.
It's half-assed surgery after the assfucking -- we'll never be able to shit
the same again.

A very inneresting insight into how shit works was the recent History
Channel Documentary on Charlie Wilson (D-Texas) and his jihad against the
Russians when they were in Afghanistan.... or How the Taliban got Stinger
Missiles.

Inneresting how Industry in general can use the supposed Great Leveler of
the Playing Field (technology/Internet) and the media to its advantage.
Yeah, the playing field is level, but now there are gigantic but invisible
sink holes, for every consumer to fall in.
In fact, the Internet is now just another Media, "owned", essentially, by
the people who can afford to manipulate it.
That you/me/we have our shitty li'l websites means shit.

Grab yer ankles boyzngerlz, and just hope you don't get all torn up.

But, hey, just think, as bad as things are or will get, you will *always*
have free Prep H for your brain:
You will *always* be able to cheer for and fight over your Fav
Sports Team, and yer fav player, who just happens to be making 1,000 times
your salary, and who can sell his snot on ebay for more than what you make
in a year, and whose children will have 1,000 times the opportunities of
your children....

But then, this is exactly Social Darwinism at work, idnit? Lebron's friends
or children aren't cheering for YOU (plural), now, are they???? But don't
let this stop YOUR (plural) cheering....

Oh, whereOwhere will (free agent) Lebron go???? I just cain't sleep at
night.....
