Scotch Ale Braggot

I made an extract Scotch Ale Braggot, but mashed
the specialty grains. Took the recipe straight
out of "Beer Captured" (pp 83). It has fermented
down to 1.045.

It has obvious faults as in too thin and too sweet
for starters. I would not give it a score over 29.
But I am in love with it. It's been a few years
since I molested under-aged Meads. Fortunately I
made 10 gallons of it.

I recently made a few gallons of braggot. I used 3 lbs of honey and
about 1 lb of thomas cooper sparkling ale malt extract. I racked every
week for 3 weekls and then drank it. It was deliscious
